About Chadwell Springs Golf Centre

Chadwell Springs has been part of the McMullen family since 1974, and our pub, the Kings Mead, has been here since 1950. Formerly the site of the original East Herts Golf Club it became Chadwell Springs 9-hole Golf course in 1974. The land is formed over chalk caves, the risk of which was highlighted when a seven-foot tree planted one day was below ground the next! It is the water in these caves that filters down into the chalk aquifer that is used in the brew of McMullen’s local ales to this day. Head over to the Kings Mead to try one of the fantastic Mac’s or Rivertown beers!
