Yelverton Golf Club (YGC) was founded in 1904 and provides a challenging and enjoyable moorland course suitable for all abilities. It has the enviable honour of being re-designed by Herbert Fowler in the early 1900's and then updated in the mid 1930's by James Braid. With a total white tee yardage of 6302 (Par 71) it is surprisingly deceptive in length and suitably demanding for the low handicapper as well as being forgiving for the higher handicapper and beginner. It is rated in the Top 100 golf courses in England. We are a friendly club and welcome societies and golfers on holiday in the Devon area, who want to play at one of the best moorland golf courses in England.
