Ullapool Golf Club
Ullapool Golf Club was opened in April 1998 as a nine-hole course. It was started by locals who were fed up having to drive a distance for a round of golf. The land was kindly rented to the club by the Scobie family, Rhidorroch. Interestingly there had been a golf club in Ullapool as far back as 1899 and a course on much the same site was recorded on OS maps in 1929. No record of the club exists after 1939. The “new” course was professionally designed and developed to the highest standards. It has full time greens staff who over the years have nurtured and improved the course. Second tees have been added to every hole making the second nine holes very different to the first nine for those playing eighteen holes. The greens are to an exceptional standard and the course is very well maintain

The 9-hole course provides an excellent challenge to golfers of all abilities with a testing par for low handicappers but a forgiving nature for the more casual player. The club was established in 1898 and has steadily developed ever since. Every year sees further investment in the course and its facilities.
